BG-GAT Manual

The BG-GAT (Gravid Aedes Trap) was developed by Dr.A.E.Eiras from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Dr S.A. Ritchie from James Cook University, Cairns, Queensland 4870, Australia. The BG GAT is designed to capture adult female container-exploiting mosquitoes and does not require a power source. Knock-down surface spray, or the optional blue LINNs, can be used to reduce the potential for escape of adult mosquitoes once trapped.
